PeterPan
We won... The school is changing ds' disabling condition to autism for his IEP. It will increase our funding, improve access to providers, give us the more flexible scholarship, and be protective overall as now he'll have funding to have more options. We've worked on it and the school fought us 3 long years. Finally.

PeterPan
This was our 4th go-round with the IEPs and they had stepped up the disabling condition a couple times. It's pretty common for schools to cherrypick off particular symptoms (SLDs, ADHD, anxiety, anything) and put the disabling condition as those.
