Garga
I’m looking into DE for my son for next year. The community college said that I need to provide them with an unofficial transcript. She said it doesn’t need to be signed or stamped or anything...just a quick transcript so they can see what he’s done so far in high school. Question: do I simply create a list of classes and grades or does an unofficial transcript also include some sort of verbiage about how I gave him those grades? Like: 20% of the grade was for an essay, 10% was for class participation, etc? Or just a list: English 9: A Biology: A World History: A etc... regentrude
Transcripts do not contain information on how the grade came about. They include only course title and grade, and possibly the (completely meaningless) grading scale (90%=A...etc)
Bambam
I just downloaded a blank transcript off the internet. And basically it says English 1, English 2, Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology w/lab, American History, Geography, Logic 1, etc. for each subject there is an assigned grade and the credit hours. Baile
No, you do not need to include how you calculated each grade. I include the title, final grade, and credit awarded for each course, and then the overall number of credits earned to date and current GPA.
