Guest
I ackowledged that I have survived 47 years in this life - it’s my b-day! I made coffee. I came here. I went on FB and accepted birthday wishes and commeted on some posts. I adjusted the blinds in the sunroom so I can sit here and drink my coffee. I pet the kitty and fed her. That’s it for now. I’m lounging and I’m very content.
Selkie
Fed the cats. Went outside, dragged a muck bucket of hay to the pump and filled it. (One of my horses needs his hay soaked to remove sugars.) Came back inside and fed dogs. Mixed up a syringe of horse medication. Fed and medicated horses. Made breakfast for dh and me (today, it is tofu scrambles with roasted asparagus and baby potatoes).
Garga
I just got up and haven’t done the personal hygeine and dressing yet, but I have done this: 1. Opened all the curtains in the bedroom because that’s where the sun comes in at this time of day and the cats like to lie in it. 2. Made the bed. 3. Watered two plants. 4. Opened the curtains in the bathroom (same reason as bedroom.) 5. Put away some plastic bags that one of the cats pulled out of the dispenser (because he likes to roll on them.) 6. Checked email and gave someone in email advice about online math classes and opened this site to peruse while I start to brush my teeth, and read a few quoted responses to things I wrote yesterday. (And now to brush teeth and dress.)

marbel
Emptied the dishwasher. Swept the kitchen floor and wondered what my kids were doing last night that it needed sweeping again. Picked up leftover tea mugs from last night, put in dishwasher. Got out the bacon for my husband to cook. Read a psalm. Sat down at the computer... Wished Quill a happy birthday!

Annie G
1. Sent text to dd to encourage her through a rough patch with her job. 2. Started drinking my morning jolt of caffeine 3. Made breakfast 4. Made my to do list for the day 5. Read and deleted emails 6. Sent text to granddaughter who broke both of her arms this week and who lives to run lyrics at their church. She probably can’t do that job until the casts come off and I know she’s feeling blue about it. Happy birthday, Quill!!
medawyn
1) Jerked awake at 5:17 because the baby (very unusually) shrieked. Took her to the living room to nurse her. 2) Figured out how to get the 21 mo out of the crib while nursing baby at 5:20. Tried to distract him from breakfast with Yup Yups on YouTube. 3) Gave up on distraction when the 3 and 5 yo emerged from their rooms at 5:31. Took demands for breakfast from 3 yo and 21 mo. 4) Checked e-mail and skimmed FB while burping baby. 5) Changed diapers and sat in the bathroom reading a story to encourage newly potty trained 3 yo. 6) Made breakfast for 5 yo and second breakfast for middle two; baby fell back to sleep, so I finally had two hands. ETA: Happy birthday, Quill!

PeachyDoodle
1. Realized we'd overslept and wouldn't be making it to church. 2. Chatted in bed with dh about non-family-logistics topics -- a rarity! 3. Cleaned the kitchen while helping dh make a grocery list. 4. Discovered ds had torn the moss off a new (artificial) plant I just bought and had a long, serious talk about personal property, acknowledging when we're wrong (he's very stubborn and HATES to be wrong about anything, which he might possibly maybe get from his mother), and apologizing to those we've hurt. 5. Started a load of laundry. 6. Picked up a few odds and ends around the house, which somehow resulted in an impromptu master closet clean-out. I would feel smug about accomplishing all that if I hadn't literally spent my entire Saturday in bed watching NCIS reruns!
Spryte
I slept in very late. :) 1. Snuggles and hugs from the kids, especially 6 yo DD 2. Weighed myself - is that personal hygiene? Maybe 3. Started the washing machine 4. Made a cappuccino, realized the milk had turned (eewwww), made another one. 5. Took morning meds and gave DS his morning meds (hmmmm, personal hygiene overlap again?) 6. Reminded DS to feed the dogs, reminded DD to feed the fish and because two of mine might be personal hygiene: 7. Smiled at a good morning message from traveling DH 8. Drank my cappuccino where I could watch birds at the bird feeder

BarbecueMom
1) Checked on a sick kid (technically multiple times between 2:20am and 6:00am, when I got up for good) 2) Got coffee ready - fresh pot for DH, iced leftovers for me 3) Pulled all the breakfast leftovers out of the fridge - Chocolate Chip Yogurt Bread, Bacon Cheddar Quiche, and Roasted Red Pepper/Spinach/Feta Quiche - and ate a half-slice of each 4) Texted DS's baseball coach to let him know sick kid would not be at the tournament game this morning 5) Rearranged a couple of the kitchen cabinets because I felt like it 6) Went to the grocery store (since the day is no longer filled with baseball) Then I ate lunch, started dinner in the crockpot, and am now trying to not fall asleep while paying bills and waiting on the outcome of the ball game DS is missing. EMS83
Oh man...well those came after the first six things anyway, lol. This is as good as my faulty memory can recall: talked with DH a bit (no, that's not a euphemism!!) let dogs out got kids moving morning prayers with kids started breakfast made coffee That's a pretty typical morning minus the chat with DH; sometimes the coffee comes before getting the kids up.
