Dmmetler
On giftedness in children and adolescents. She’s tried to keep it very academic and has documented everything thoroughly, but ultimately, she’s putting herself out there and trying to address all the questions and misconceptions she’s dealt with. It’s been a good process for her, and she’s come out of it much more comfortable with herself. I just hope today doesn’t change that.
EKS
I hope it goes well. (FWIW, I have a master's degree in gifted education and have found that it's best not to mention the g word to anyone other than people one knows extremely well. This includes, for me, simply saying that my degree is in "education" without specifying the gifted part. Hopefully, the folks in your daughter's class, including the instructor, are more open minded than many of the people I've encountered.) Dmmetler
She said it went well with an extension on 2e (particularly ASD/Gifted), which seemed to be a new concept to a lot of folks in the class. I’ve been pretty impressed with her psych professor for the past two semesters.
