EmmaGM
My oldest currently does "notebook" to start each day which has fast worksheets that cover day of the week, how to fill out a calendar, reading a clock, temperature, season, practicing place value, etc. He's outgrowing it a little bit and I think next year I'd like to replace it. The Evan-Moor daily practice workbooks look perfect. Has anyone else used them for this? Any other ideas for what to put into that time slot? Memory work and read aloud will continue as they always have. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Farrar
You don't necessarily have to do the same thing every day. For morning work when my kids were little, we used to alternate math drill type worksheets with more fun things like Tin Man Press materials.
rjand6more
How about blank maps? We do daily notebook. Ours has calendar, weather, logic puzzles, memorization/copywork(this year we have memorized speeches), daily drawings for grade 1 and 4, journal pages and daily bible studies for the olders.
