Night Elf Posted February 11, 2018 Author Share Posted February 11, 2018 (edited) Zone 3 according to the FlyLadyPlus App gives more information than just what I listed above. It says, Bathroom and One Extra Room, Laundry Room, and Extra Bedroom. If you don't need to do the Laundry room and one extra bedroom, don't worry about it. Zone cleaning: Hall Bathroom --Dust shelves --Clean behind toilet --Wipe down walls and cabinet --Wash shower curtain Morning routine Afternoon routine Daily: --Laundry (part of morning and afternoon routines --Sweep house minus bedrooms --Sweep deck and front porch (It's wet today. Will skip this.) --Mop kitchen and living room Extra: --Weekly Grocery Shopping --Spend 15 minutes in storage room taking inventory of what's in there --Work with ds on that stupid Lego table that is still full of Legos! ETA: we didn't get into the storage room today. DH isn't feeling well and we're hoping he isn't getting sick. I also didn't wash the shower curtain. I looked at it and it looks fine. I probably won't mop the kitchen and living room today. I'm tired and we're preparing dinner right now and I don't like doing chores in the evenings. I'll figure it out tomorrow. As for the Lego table, I haven't decided yet what to do. I need to get ds to help me and he's only available in the evenings because of his sleep/wake schedule and I don't like doing things in the evening. If I feel up to it tonight, I'll take him in there and make him do at least one thing such as put all mini-figures in a bag, or begin taking down his personal creations. DH told me to just go in there and clean up any way I want because obviously ds has no interest in doing it. I just feel like that's wrong. He worked so hard on that table and the idea of me coming along and tearing it all down seems mean. I had a cup of coffee and I am thinking of another one. I was thinking that we could post things on Sunday that we need to do in the given zone that are not always thought of. So for me since this week is bathroom, I realized I need to wipe down the inside of my medicine cabinets. It is getting funky in there! So what about you? Today I cleaned off the shelves I have on the wall. It had some stuff on there from when my oldest dd lived here and that was about 3 years ago! I also had a box of earrings and junk bracelets. I asked both dd's about them and they said to toss them. So out they went! I don't need to clean under my sink because I did that about a month ago and haven't added anything in there. I could probably clean out the linen closet. I have some stuff in there I may never use again. I'm pretty good at putting monthly chores on my zone lists. Like cleaning the floor of the linen closet in the hall bathroom. I need to sweep in there and wipe the floor down or mop now that I have a new mop.
