especially as you...matured LOL...what brand did you switch to?

About a year ago I went from loose Bare Minerals (Bare Escentuals) to the barepro compact, which I liked. But I think I may need something different as my skin is getting dryer.

What's working for you?

(And yeah, I think this has been asked and answered before but I'm on my phone and asking between errand stops.)

Are you using a base primer?

Honestly, I am having some of the same issues.  I've tried IT Cosmetics cc cream, and it's pretty good, but I still have the best coverage when I use Prime Time followed by powder.  The Prime Time evens out all of my wrinkles and gives me a smooth surface on which to put my mineral foundation.

Yes, I use a primer and find that Prime Time does work the best for me! But with my fussy midlife skin, I was hoping to get away from using it on a daily basis. Sadly things aren't as simple as they used to be!

I had the same experience even using a good primer..still just sat on my skin instead of looking natural.

I now use BareMinerals Bareskin brightening serum foundation. It’s a liquid that you use 4 drops on a brush and apply in a circular motion. Definitely more coverage and not as dry looking.

I discovered mineral make-up about 5 minutes before I had to give it up. I replaced it with B.B. cream. This year I decided to start adding a layer of high octane spf under my B.B. cream for daily wear. SPF 15 isn’t really enough for me and I need sunscreennin places I don’t apply makeup.
