historymatters
I am curious to read any reviews regarding their high school Am. History materials. I need something easier for me to grade. I love the text my son is using, but it doesn't have many support materials and it requires that I look up into the text to see if his answers are correct and I just can't do that at this time in our lives. So, who has used "A Concise History..." with the guides? What did you think? Could one complete the two year program in 1 1/2 years? Is there busy work? Does it allow time to include Great Courses courses? Would it prepare him well enough for the CLEP? What about primary sources study? I'm tempted to just drop it this year, because at the rate he's going, he won't finish by next summer anyway, and start World Geography instead. Then take Am. History for 11th with MP online Academy or The Potter's School and World History in 12th with TPS. I'm struggling here. My dd's mental illnesses' requirements are zapping all my plans. Thanks Edited December 18, 2017 by historymatters
chiguirre
Their online class is just one year so it must be possible. The college prep level class is sufficient for the CLEPs and students have done that. T will take this class in a couple of years so I'll know more then.
