mama25angels
I have outlook on my phone and when I open an email it says," This message has not been downloaded from the server." As far as I know, I have the latest version of the app, I'm using the iphone7, it's not a big deal, I'd just like to know why it's not working. Thanks
BarbecueMom
My iPhone (5) went nuts this morning, so maybe there's something wonky happening on their end.
Tap
Did you try powering off and restarting the phone? That generally solves most glitchy issues here.
Lanny
OP are you using POP3, which does Download mail from the email server and then deletes that mail on the server, or, are you using IMAP, which downloads a copy to your client (in this case your phone) but leaves the original on the email server? On my Android, I use IMAP, so I can access the email either on the web (Gmail) or on my phone. IMAP is generally recommended...
JennyD
My (very old) Android phone regularly refuses to download email when it deems my remaining storage space insufficient. Edited November 29, 2017 by JennyD

I was able to delete email icon on my phone and replace it with the actual outlook app and it works fine now.
