I hate it when life throws everything at you all at once

Twin one has his regular  specialist appointments at the Royal Children hospital, it takes a while to get these appointments. and to get them all lined up on the one day is terrific.

DH ripped open his inguinal hernia ( was operated on /repaired 15 years ago) and has to have urgent surgery. Of course it is all on the same day. I will be 400 km away in Melbourne . he will be 100 km for home in hospital.... ds20 is taking a day off work to look after ds14 and staying on the nights I am away. Why cannot life be organised and orderly so I can be available everywhere I need to be.

Quite frankly I am very worried about DH. His hernia is huge. He has to literally hold his guts in when he walks. His operation is on Monday Aus time.

we have another even more stressful thing happening at the moment that I cannot talk about yet(legal reason), involving things from earlier this year..... that has been soo stressful that it is unbelievable.

I think of you often in the matter from your challenging spring.

Your poor dh. I know you can't be everywhere at once. Be where only you can be, and know that your dh will be asleep for most of that surgery day. The following period of recovery is when he will need you most.

Do you have to take twin 2 to Melbourne as well? That sounds like a nightmare - 2 high needs kids on a 400 km trip.

yes. they don't cope being separated for long periods of time. Plus with DH in hospital there is nobody to look after the other one.

400 km each way. We use public transport. They are getting better at it.

I'm just catching up on this now.  Wow.  I'll be praying it all goes well - your trip with the twins, the appts, and your dh's surgery (that does sound like a huge hernia!).  I hope all of you can treat yourself to some sort of treat when it's all done.   :grouphug:  I'm glad your other boys can stay together taking care of the homefront.
