Good morning Flyminds!

We have completed the baby steps found here: http://forums.welltr...nday-october-1/

Welcome to the Build a Control Journal series!

There are 15 steps to build a Control Journal. You may find that you need all 15 steps, you may find that you only need a few, you may find that you need something that is not listed here. The choice is yours and no one is going to grade you on this. So have fun and let’s get to it!

The steps:

  1. Get your supplies.
  2. Do a basic set up.
  3. Write down a bedtime routine
  4. Write down morning and afternoon routines
  5. Add Weekly home blessing hour
  6. Detailed cleaning lists
  7. Pantry list

Step 8 - Meal plan - http://www.flylady.net/d/getting-started/flying-lessons/control-journal/step-8/

Well with a pantry list this should be easy…. Right? Well it should at least save us money. That we can all use!

So let’s make a goal today of making a meal plan using mostly, if not only foods we have on hand.

I have done well today. I have the dishwasher empty, load in the washer, kids fed, dog fed, bed made, hey that is a good morning for me. :) DH will be home in a couple of hours and he will see the house about how we normally see it after we go on a trip... the same way as we left it. Minus a bit a food of coarse. ;)

Last night I scrubbed my kitchen. I cleaned the dark side of my kitchen. We started a remodel last Christmas of our kitchen. It was small but HUGE for us. We moved our refrigerator to a corner and took a closet that it had been in (yeah they thought this was a good idea when they built these houses) and put a door on it. So it is now our pantry. Then we put cabinets around the refrigerator's new home and a counter-top. We also hung another cabinet. Our kitchen was designed to be an eat in kitchen but for people without appliances. We have it now so it is a normal kitchen and a folding table that we eat dinner at (occasionally other meals as well as homeschooling) when needed. The dark side of my kitchen is the old side where we didn't replace the cabinets or the fixtures... well except for the sink. I scrubbed and scrubbed it. Then I cleaned the window to my oven. That feels nice getting all that clean! :D

Today I hope to clean the silverware drawer and wipe down the new cabinets. I also ordered a new mop. Not sure I will like it, but I don't like the swifter wet jet mop. I want something that I don't have to constantly buy things for.
