rbk mama Posted August 29, 2017 Share Posted August 29, 2017 We finally got his results from his first AP exam (CB was waiting on some information from the school where he took the exam). He got a 5 on AP Computer Science (9th grade)!! He tested with 1.5 time and extra breaks. Such a tremendous encouragement for him. He took some practice tests, and it was very interesting seeing how he did when we had him take it with the normal amount of time. He would bomb the last third or quarter of each section as he became fatigued. It wasn't even like he ran out of time - it was more like he couldn't think anymore. Extra time meant a very long test overall, but those breaks made a huge difference. I posted here a few years ago asking if anyone knew of dyslexics who had taken APs.
