Jackie in AR Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 I see 4 versions at Netflix: 1972 , 1980, 2001, and 2004. 2004 is most likely out since it is R-rated, and my 13yo boys will be watching it. Jane in NC Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 The 2004 version is rated R for nudity which has (in my opinion) nothing to do with the plot. Argh. The cast includes Al Pacino, Joseph Fiennes, and Jeremy Irons--top notch actors--which makes the unnecessary background "adornments" (nude women) a bit of a puzzle.
