AP Course Audit for 2017-2018 is now available

Recommended Posts

Just renewed US Government and Macroeconomics.

Interesting observation.  I had not renewed US Govt for the 2016-17 school year.  I was able to reach back to the previous time it had been approved, even though there had been a gap.  I didn't know if that would work or not.  Nice to see that it did.

The CB has previously approved two different syllabi I had submitted for the new AP Chemistry course: one two years ago and a different one last year.  The renewal form gave me the option of which one I wanted to renew for this year (even though the textbook from the older one is now out-of-date).

I had wondered that myself.  I renewed my biology one this past year, even though I didn't teach it, because I was scared to let it lapse.

When I need it again in 2018-2019, my textbook (Campbell and Reece 8th. Ed, published in 2008) will be 10 years old.  I wondered if they would flag it and make me change to a newer edition.  RegGuheert's experience makes it sound like they won't.  Interesting.

I'd wondered the same thing and just today renewed an AP course I won't be needing this year. Good to know for future (although 2018-2019 year is the final year I'll need this particular class, so I'll be renewing it anyway!)
