lewber Posted July 31, 2017 Share Posted July 31, 2017 DS is in public school and a strong math student. I have heard from other parents that we should supplement the math program. He liked AOPS for prealgebra and Algebra but when we tried Geometry this summer, it didn't go well - no video lectures. Is there a Geometry class with videos that can be done more of an afterschooling class? He will get some geometry exposure, but we use a "spiral" curriculum so he won't have the actual class. He is very strong in spacial skills and enjoys geometry but isn't really interested in independently learning without video help. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It doesn't take much time, particularly if it's a supplement, and it's excellent for filling in holes. Very building-up-from-the-base complete type presentation.
