Homeschoolmom3
So I am looking for an online option that doesn't cost more than $200 per credit hour for Calculus I & II and Chemistry with lab. Our CC cost $200 per hour and is not much to be desired. I can't seem to find many courses online that offer these for dual enrollment. Any one have experience here? Thanks so much! MarkT
ASU is a possibility for Calculus - it won't be easy/water-downed DS took part of College Algebra this way as a refresher - (not looking for credit so no cost) http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/586413-dual-enrollment-online-list-of-providersfavorites/?p=7688324 Edited July 11, 2017 by MarkT

Thanks though, I didn't have luck with that school.

MarkT
Have you tried other CCs in your state that may have a better online Calc course? [in AZ - CCs charge tuition and fees by what county you live in because county taxes pay for them - some states use more state money such as NY]
EKS
Oregon State University is apparently known for their online chemistry courses, but they're $280 per credit. http://ecampus.oregonstate.edu/online-degrees/undergraduate/online-chemistry-lab-course/ BYU Independent Study offers Calculus I and II for $183 per credit. https://is.byu.edu/site/courses/index.cfm?school=univ#university=on|high-school=false|middle-school=false|continuing-education=false|ig=on|online=on|paper=on|subject=Mathematics

MarkT
I have no idea how much these cost: https://navigator.suny.edu/courses
Mike in SA
UT Extension has an accelerated calculus sequence at 275/hr: https://courses.extension.utexas.edu/all but that's 1100 per course. UTPB also supports DE for homeschooling and has a lot of options at 50/hr, but chemistry not among the listed options. They do offer chemistry online (possibly early enrollment), but that may run up to 200/hr.
SparklyUnicorn
I have no idea how much these cost: https://navigator.suny.edu/courses The local to me CC is $328 per credit for non county residents. On-line has some additional fees. Not sure what those cost either, but the CC here is less than two others I know of near me. edited to add: $382 per credit with the fees (I looked it up) Edited July 12, 2017 by SparklyUnicorn
elfgivas
we were really happy with AP Pennsylvania Homeschoolers. dd#3 took AP Chem and AP Calc A/B through them. (and got 5s!!). they are not as inexpensive as you are quoting, but the quality you get is worth way more than what you pay! hth, ann
