MommyLiberty5013
I think Birkenstock makes a sandal that has more of a thong that goes up the center of the foot. Those shoes, also seemed to have arch support. Possibly Crocs? Perhaps do a search on Zappos.com
Kim in Appalachia
I don't have their flip flops, but Vionic works great and they do sell flip flops. I would try them.
meena
I have super flat feet with severe pronation and live in FL where we pretty much live in flip flops year round. I love Reef flip flops. My favorite model is the men's Smoothy. I've been able to walk for miles in those without my feet or back hurting.
zoobie
Birks Gizeh are great. FitFlops have good support too and a shaped insole, as do some Crocs flip flops.
klmama
Vionic. The Tide and Tide II styles have worked well for me. They strengthened my ankles, too. I tried some other styles of their sandals, but the foot bed was different and didn't help the pronation problem. If you don't have Vionic in a store near you, I suggest you try Zappos; you can return the ones you don't want. http://www.zappos.com/vionic-sandals-shoes/CK_XAToClxPiAgIBBw.zso?t=vionic+sandals

dirty ethel rackham
Go to a Walking Company store if you have one near you. Abeo has some cute styles that help with pronation control. Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk

magnificent_baby
Reef is my favorite brand for my super flat feet. I have not tried many others though. I have plantar fasciitis too so they do hurt at the end of the day if I've done a lot of walking. They are pretty supportive though for flip flops. Most of mine have come from Amazon, where every so often I come across a pair for less than $20.
Suzanne in ABQ
The arch support company, Super Feet, makes flip flops that are shaped like their insoles. They're very comfortable and attractive. I wear them when I want to look refined! :001_cool: https://www.superfeet.com/en-us/insoles-and-sandals/outside-2-bermuda
gardenmom5
The walking company has some supportive flip flops by abeo. Good arch support, comfortable. I got them for 2ds because he would only wear flipflops. Now he's at a CPA firm and has to wear dress shoes.
J-rap
Thanks everyone! Just put in a big order to Zappos to try on several of them, and will try and make a trip to the Walking Company next time I'm in a city that has one. I hadn't heard of Super Feet! Those look good too.
Forget-Me-Not
Another vote for Vionic Tide II flip flops. I'm on my third pair. They're pricy but I usually get 2 years out of them.
AngieW in Texas
Vionic. That's what we got recommendations for and they do actually work.
ktgrok
Vionic. That's what we got recommendations for and they do actually work. yup. My newest pair of Vionic Tide II flip flops are arriving today, as my old pair was wearing out. I've been wearing them for almost 8 years (well, not the same pair, lol) and they are amazing. I can totally tell when they start to get too old because my feet start to hurt again. (a year or two of every single day wear)
