Has anyone been able to get MS office for free for their homeschooler?

Aren't .edu addresses reserved for colleges and universities? Even large public school districts don't have them (that I've seen).

Our public schools have .edu email addresses for faculty and students. Our school system owns an enterprise license to MS Office and our students get it that way.

If you refer to a version that you can Download and install onto your Windows PC, probably no.   My DD has an account to use it Online and that is free. I think it is a limited version of Office that she has access to?  She also uses LibreOffice, which one can legally download and use, free.  I  have access to something called "Microsoft Office Online" and I think this is the login URL.

https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/login

but that does not seem to work...   I think that is what my DD uses.
