take insurance.  I could swear I have used my insurance card there before.

DS got his camp physical, $70!  But we only have a week left to get it.  ARGH!

It is done now.  We will call insurance and see if they will reimburse.

Anyone have experience???

We most definitely use insurance at MinuteClinic.  Our co-pay there is the same as for our regular doctor (as opposed to twice a much for a specialist or freestanding urgent care).  The camp physical may not be approved to be covered by the insurance company if he's already had a well visit in the last year.  Call your insurance company.

Ours takes our insurance, but co-pay is higher for the urgent care category. They want you to go to your primary, although we have an independent walk-in clinic that bills like a primary doctor. So we usually go there if at all possible instead of CVS.

Thank you.

It says online they DO accept insurance.  The woman told my husband they didn't accept any.  ARGH!  I will have to go in there Wed and fight this.  Now I am ticked.  I don't have time to fight so much incompetence!~
