Remudamom
It'll die soon and I want to keep it for my tea. Do I freeze it, dry it, what?
laughing lioness
I dried tons of mint this summer. You can do it in the oven (very low) or microwave (med) temp till dry, or just hang to dry -but then you run the risk of cobwebs in your drink;). KIN
My MIL makes a concentrate by taking a lot of mint leaves and pouring boiling water over it. Then, she freezes the mint water concentrate into ice cubes. Then, when you want a refreshing drink just add a few mint ice cubes to your water, hot chocolate or whatever! She also said if you like your tea sweetened to add sugar to it at with the hot water to dissolve it.
Remudamom
Great ideas, I think I'll do both. I've got a dehydrator so I'll put some in there.
jamnkats
MOJITOS Baby! Little Havana Club and mint, some soda water and you've got yourself a nice drink. Hmmm...I'll have to hit Soriana for Havana Club once I finish this Flor de Cana...
