Molasses cookies without spices

Does anyone have a recipe for something like this? The standard molasses cookies are good, but we don't love the pumpkin pie spice flavor that much. I'd love an alternative, but everything I'm finding online has the standard ginger/nutmeg/allspice combo.

Thanks!

The spices don't effect the baking so you don't necessarily need a different recipe if you have one already where you like the texture and method... I'd just play around with it. I can't imagine not including some spice, but maybe try just a bit of cinnamon instead?

I have that problem with the dreaded "Fifth Spice" in Chinese five spice. It turns out that my cardamom tolerance is very low! I just reduce or eliminate it depending on what I'm doing, but it means I don't buy a premixed spice blend. Pumpkin Pie Spice is just a premixed blend, so you can deconstruct it and make your own personalized blend.
