JFSinIL
Bet that electric razor wasn't grounded....don't drop it in the sink, Alex! And why does Judy long for an electric iron as she is ironing...with an electric iron? Golly, all the references to electric appliances...could this possibly be a promo film from the electric co? ;-) This is a hoot.

It's a thing for ironing flat stuff like sheets. Also called a mangle - I had heard of this but thought it was something different. Here is a video showing one ironing fabric.

FaithManor
This makes the non domestic bones in me pop! LOL, good thing Dh was attracted to the rad piano skills and didn't desire June Cleaver. Would have been a rough life for him otherwise.
kewb
So not me. It was funny as an ad for electric appliances but Judy's one dimensional character gave me the reds.

Just Another Jen
Didn't it seem like the electric appliance industry-sponsored the content?
Guest
Didn't it seem like the electric appliance industry-sponsored the content? They did. It was a commercial for electricity, I guess.
