Who's going to tackle Saturday with me?

Recommended Posts

I am starting to get hit or miss about posting here.  On Wed my dh had a minor stroke.  He's home now.  We came home late last night.

So life's been a little weird but at least it was just a small stroke. They can't figure out why though which had the doctors concerned.  So I foresee many doctors appts in our near future!

Anyway, today:

buy baby aspirin for my husband!

bagels

putter around the house and spoil him since it is nice he is home.

I'm sure there's other stuff.  Can't think of them right now!

Faithr, I am so sorry to hear about your husband but glad he is doing better.

My oldest is still nursing a quad injury so he is on IR.  I must admit it is nice to not have double header baseball games all day Saturday and Sunday.  I sort of don't know what to do with myself.....

-coffee

-take oldest to conditioning at gym

-exercise (haven't for the past two days, ugh)

-shower

-library

-plan whole 30 meals for the week, prep for freezer cooking tomorrow

-plan school for the week

-get a pedicure

-grocery store (or shipt if I am being lazy, which I think I might be)

-relax in the sun and read

-go to Kentucky Derby party at friend's house

Faithr, so glad he's okay and praying for no other problems for your dh.

Jean, praying for peace and calm nerves as well as direction in what to say.

Ds' birthday is tomorrow, so we will probably go out to eat tonight at his choice of a nice restaurant since we have church tomorrow as well as his drama team practice.

Housework and school planning for next week are all that's on my to do list today.

Good morning!

Faithr, I'm so sorry about your dh!   :grouphug:

Our dog Boo is doing much better since I decided to tinker around with his medication schedule. The vet had us giving him two types of pain meds every 8 hours, but yesterday I staggered them so he is getting one pain med every 4 hours, and it made a world of difference. Last night was the first night in a long while that he was able to sleep comfortably through the night.  :thumbup1:

•get kids moving

•finish up horse chores

•run to the eye dr. to pick up dh's new glasses and get ds' glasses fixed

•ride horses

•relax

•dinner: salmon fried rice

To do:

morning walk

coffee

clean upstairs bathrooms

vacuum

swap meet with dh/lunch out

grocery and meal planning

budget review

yard work/planting because it's finally cool here today after 90 degree temps

library

Have a great Saturday!

Faithr glad your hubby is home!

Clean kitchen

Still have NOt put away all the laundry

School prep

Older kids to work

Must do yard work. While I am enjoying all the rain and everything being green, it is not helping me with my flowerless flower beds that I'm trying to redo so my neighbor's cat will hopefully quit using it as her personal litterbox.....

Also, it's cold-yay!!

Selkie, so glad your dog slept better.

readinmom, praying for controlled blood sugar and your head.

I forgot I needed to pay bills, so I took care of that. I should also probably make a meal plan and grocery list for next week. My family might like to eat!   ;)

Rocky woke me up once but it was early in the night  That meant that he gave me a good long chunk of sleep afterwards.  And it was even longer than normal because for the first time in a long time I was able to sleep in a bit.

Human care done well enough for Saturday.

Pet care done

Medical care done

Next:  clean the bathroom because college boys are going to descend on the house in 15 minutes.
