tax day is tuesday -

dh does the taxes for a guy with whom he has a business interest.  guy tends to procrastinate, and was panicking. dh is almost done, but needs a few docs.   then dh mentioned tax day was tuesday - and I though 'what?!?'. . . .

2ds has said NOTHING - and he works at a cpa firm while working towards his own cpa.  all they're talking about is taxes - and he's said nothing.  (he's working today too.)

 

 

today is saturday - so it's normally bumped to monday.  but,

dc has a holiday so the irs offices are closed monday.  so, yep   it is tuesday.

I remembering this happening a few times during my income-tax years.  My husband is always keenly aware of the deadline.  :-)

I knew the deadline was Tuesday. My procrastinating husband started working on the taxes yesterday. Will finish tomorrow. Which is better than his usual night before make everyone crazy.

And, they're done. She took about an hour I think? After she was done I told her the deadline was Tuesday, and she said that she thought the deadline might not have been today but that she didn't want to look it up unless she got super frustrated. Anyway, happy they're done.
