SKL
Hi, I spent most of the night (so far) working on some stressful work, and I need to send something out early tomorrow (I mean today). Like before my kids get up. I should probably just finish it before I sleep. But I'm tired and don't want to make a mistake. Ugh ... Work in the wee / early hours. Kids off to school bus, with gym bags. Clean critter cage. Take out garbage. Kids' chapel service - 5th grade is doing a play, my kids want me there. Work. A little reading, housework, exercise, maybe music. Doctor appointment. More work. Kids' work. Kid to gymnastics. Walk/work at gymnastics. Read-aloud? Kids to bed. Work. Pink and Green Mom
Not feeling 100 percent this AM, so my husband took the oldest to school and is dropping the youngest off at his 8:30-2 co-op day. So I have the house to myself. I don't know how to act.... -coffee -exercise (didn't yesterday, so 30 minutes low impact cardio, 30 minutes heavy shoulder work) -shower -run dishwasher -a stray load of laundry -call doctor about son's lyme rash -pick up youngest from co-op -pick up oldest from school -dinner (I have a rib roast I have to cook by Friday, tonight may be best night) -oldest to conditioning gym -help oldest make final edits to his school paper -continue looking for intensive remedial writing help for oldest over the summer

MysteryJen
I think so. But you will never catch the administration telling parents they can. I requested it (email to principal) and he couldn't refuse....though he pretended he could. I would have kept her out of school anyway. Seriously, those tests are a giant waste of everyone's time and money. The only tests high school kids take seriously are PSAT, SAT or ACT.

SKL
Well, the doctor appointment is tomorrow, not today. Good thing I realized that before I went speeding down the highway. :P Just as well, since I had some unexpected work things come up. Technology not working as it should - nothing new, really, just annoying. Had a conference call with an individual who screams into the phone the whole time. Dude. Yelling is not necessary. And excuse me, can I get a word in edgewise?
ScoutTN
Only math happened here today, schoolwise. I got frustrated with Ds and just let them play outside the rst of the day. We did get several necessary errands done and the kids did well in their piano lessons. And dinner, that they like, is ready. Tomorrow is another day.
