mysticmomma
I am looking for a history/geography supplement for my 6th grade daughter. She loves to draw, and I think this might be right up her ally. She prefers to work alone and then talk things through. Has anyone had success or tremendous failures using this curriculum independently?
fourisenough
Yes, DD used independently with great success. ETA: forgot to say she was 11, turning 12 during the year she used it. She is very artsy, motivated, and independent by nature. Edited April 11, 2017 by fourisenough
rjand6more
DD did it completely independently at age 11. She loved it.
Lucy the Valiant
Planning on it for my 11yo next year, too! He *loves* geography and drawing maps, so I'm hoping it's a good fit for him. He's going to "allow" younger brother to sometimes join.
EmilyGF
I think you can do this - but I suggest you have the student rotate between the MWTA and an atlas.
