I keep popping in and out of these threads. We are in birthday season and I think we have been doing well overall. My goal is to tighten up some of the eating out spending for the remainder of the month. We had the choice to go out to eat last night and I opted out of it, so back pats for that :)

Went out to eat on Sunday night which is so rare.   Used some coupons.  

 

Spent lots at the store, but a lot of is is yard stuff.  Flowers and bushes.   I will have to go back to the store again this week.  We just didn't do a great job shopping.

 

 

I finally got my notice from Swap.com.   I made a mistake of not counting how many items I stuffed in the box.  It may not be done processing my items.  Out of the 59 that they processed, they took 58.  I am pleased with that. All were brand new with tags.   Easy peasy to go in and set the prices and go with what they advised most of the time.   I hope it works out.  It did take forever for them to process the box.  1-2 months I think.

 Now I just need some sales to see if it is worth it.   I want to get another box together now, but that would be silly. 

 

Just got a thing that says our house is worth  more.  Good except I bet our taxes will go up. 

 

Got one thing listed on CL.  Hoping to sell some things there this week. 

 

Need to return some things. 

 

I still need to spend that kohls Cash.  To do list. 

 

And spend some Groupon Bucks. 

 

Hoping to get a refund for a class that I don't think will work out. 

 

Trying to figure out if we should pull the trigger on tickets to Europe for later.   I am annoyed I missed the sale to Singapore last week for $329.  I should have jumped on that.

Trying to have a no-spend week after traveling the past two weekends and overspending on a construction boondoggle that we shut down due to code requirements we didn't want to follow.

 

Biggest challenge will be packing meals ahead instead of relying on the drive-through. Wish me strength!

Hmmmm.....I meant to spend $100 to keep eating my way through the fridge and stop the Costco insanity.

 

But DH went to Costco.  $400 later.......UGH!

 

The home organizer is coming Tue-Fri and will cost A LOT, but it is a planned expense.   I am guessing $300 this week.

 

But the big problem is taxes!  I think we owe over $2000.  GRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

$90 on groceries this week and that's it so far. When dh gets paid I've gotta take some money out as a wedding gift for Saturday. We also have to get candy to fill eggs for the egg hunt. Other than that we shouldn't be spending anything. I'm hoping once dh gets paid and we pay our bills that I'll be able to sock at least 300 into savings with this paycheck
