Caraway
Is there a computer based, self driven, fairly entertaining spelling program? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
shinyhappypeople
Sequential Spelling has an online program. I haven't used it, and I'm not sure how entertaining it is, but it's fairly independent.
shinyhappypeople
Also, Grade Spelling is independent and online. Not sure about the entertainment factor, but it's free so you can try it out and see if it would work for your child. ETA: I spent some time messing around on the site and the activities and games are pretty good. So, I'd rank the "entertainment factor" above average. It seems pretty good! I am surprised I haven't heard that mentioned before on this forum. Thanks!
Peaceseeker
sequential spelling is not entertaining but very quick and effective for us. We spend 5-10 minutes daily on spelling. They prefer me to read the words to the computer version though.
