mykidsrmyjoy
I'm thinking of using Rod and Staff Arithmetic 1 3rd edition for DD this fall. Can someone tell me if the practice sheets are essential to the program? Are they something that would be used in a classroom setting or are all those 960 pages meant for 1 student? 😳
Excelsior! Academy
They aren't. They are meant to be used as a supplement. We use them on and off, but don't have a completion goal in mind.
2_girls_mommy
I have never used them. They aren't necessary IMO.

8Arrows4theLord
I agree, they are not needed. There is more than enough work in the workbooks for a little one.
lorisuewho
We used them here. I liked the variety of extra practice on some items. I don't think they are essential, but if you have a child for whom math does does come easily, the sheets can be helpful.
