MerryAtHope
So, I realized over the winter that dd needs to take a nursing pre-req. class this summer in order to make things work more smoothly. Then I just realized this week that the timing means it technically falls in the 2016-2017 school year, and that we needed to fill out another FAFSA for her (we had already submitted a 2017-2018 school year one). So, we did that, and when it asked how many students would be in college, I answered 2. However, my son's FAFSA was filed saying there was only 1. Is there any reason for us to update his FAFSA so that they match now? It seems like it would be ridiculous to do (His school year is 3/4 over), and I'm not sure it really changes anything for him. Does it matter?
katilac
I wouldn't think so, because it says to include siblings who will attend college "at least half-time" for the year, and she's just taking one class.
Julie of KY
I'd be really surprised if they changed anything for him this late in the schoolyear.

Hm, good point, thanks! (It's an 8 hour class, but still not half-time for the year).
