Woodland Mist Academy
Is anyone using satellite internet for live online classes? Care to share your experiences?
G5052
You'll have to ask your provider for their recommendations. We used Veritas Press quite a bit (among others), here's theirs: Bandwidth: Internet connection must provide a consistent minimum download speed of 2 Mbps and upload speed of 1 Mbps. This can be measured by common Internet speed tests, e.g. SpeedOf.Me, www.speedtest.net and www.pingtest.net, etc. Connection: DSL/cable wired connection is recommended. Satellite connections are not recommended.
Woodland Mist Academy
Thanks. I've noticed on a few online school webpages that satellite connections are not recommended, so I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with satellite, even though it isn't recommended.
