Rosepetal
If anyone has taken the Writing and Literature courses for High School from Homeschool connections then: Here are my queries: 1)Do they cover summaries, outlining, Biographic sketches, protagonist /antagonist writing, citations, literature analysis, poetry analysis, literary elements and pick out specific themes of the book, How to annotate, Narrative /Expository/ Descriptive/ Persuasive, compare/ contrast cause and effect essay, Timed essay and 3-5 page response papers? 2)How much time is expected to spend on assignments, writings and readings per week? 3)May I ask how many papers/Essays are included in the Development and advanced writing courses?(High School Simplified writing 2,3 and 4, High School Essentials writings 2,5 and 6, Vocabulary and writing 1 and 2) 4)Are there secular literature options for High school? Are there literary response paper and analysis essays in literature courses? and how many papers? Do they have suggested schedules for writing and literature courses? 5)Is grading by rubric difficult for the parents? What are the charges for instructor grading? Thanks !
