looking for a fabric shaver/defuzzer

Recommended Posts

I have used a regular old (double blade, used on my legs) razor on some shirts and sweaters and it worked really well! There's something about where my seatbelt rubs across my chest that has pilled up some shirts. I thought they were ruined until I tried "shaving" them.

I have a Gleener--it's not powered at all. It comes with a couple different heads for different fabric types. I mainly use it on my wool sweaters and it works really well for that. The only issue I have with it is that the way I hold it, my finger (thumb? now I can't even remember!) tends to push the release button and the head pops off. Other than that it's been great.
