CDs or DVDs: How to Read and Understand Poetry by Great Courses

Recommended Posts

I would like experience opinions on whether it matters with this series of lectures if it's the DVD version or the CD version and why you prefer one or the other.

It seems that since it's a poetry course, then visuals aren't as important.

Thanks!

We only get audio if it is offered. Courses that are heavy on visuals are only offered in a video format anyway.

I have had a history course on video, and it was so painfully boring to watch the lecturer that I returned it and exchanged it for audio. We listen in the car; I would not make the time to sit in front of a video watching lectures.

Occasionally a visual aid was included in the course handbook.
