linders Posted November 11, 2016 Share Posted November 11, 2016 When I dropped off DS16 for his youth retreat today, I ran into the dad of another young. He is currently in the service and was holding a long-stemmed rose adorned with baby's breath. I teased him: "Got a sweetheart?" Well, yes. Ever since they were little, he has given his daughters each a rose on Veteran's Day, to thank them for supporting him as he moved them here and there and was sometimes absent.
