Insomnia. Are you up?!

If you are not sleeping, but would rather be, check in here.

2:30 am here and I finally got up after more than an hour of being restless in bed.

Got a booklight so I can read in the living room.

Our house is small so I can't do much without waking others, including the dog ( who is a hound and very vocal and loud!).

Insomnia is the primary reason we're moving to a bigger house: I assume eventually ds will get sick of his mom sleeping in his bottom bunk - that's where I can hang out at night to avoid waking anyone.

I had insomnia last night (worries about moving house) and it's 4pm and I'm exhausted. I have an assignment due at midnight, though, so I'm not likely to be in bed before then.

I'd rather just have insomnia. I spent the whole night sectioning younger kiddo's hair, combing out lice (!), blowdrying each section very carefully, coating it section by section with castor oil, and then braiding it up. While I did this, my sister combed and cornrowed the older kiddo's hair - we'll have to see about lice combing it tomorrow, but I have no idea how to run a louse comb through textured hair. Luckily, she's not our patient zero.

I'm not up, but the 5 month old is. Almost a week of him being up for the day between 3/3:30. Ugh. And when he's ready for a "nap" at 5:30, his siblings will be getting up.

Those of you suffering from insomnia have my deepest sympathy. I experience pregnancy induced insomnia and am always so grateful it disappears when baby comes.
