No workmen today, but the carpet guy is coming at 8.

Meet with carpet guy

Take 17 yo to his classes

make sure 15 yo is up and ready to do schoolwork

15 yo also needs to do laundry today (Over the weekend I assigned everyone their own day.  That way we won't have three people at once wanting to use the washer and winding up staying up until 2 to get their laundry done and leaving big piles of other peoples' laundry on the family room sofa!)

grocery shop

put groceries away

Start chicken broth

Shower

At some point today, clean bathrooms

Tackle some of my own studies

p/u 17 yo

No AHG or other stuff today - we can just focus on school work

17 yo has physical training

If nice day maybe take walk (get 15 yo outside for a bit as well)

Dinner?

More studies

Late start, slow day today here. After camping with Cub Scouts, we had a long, tense and sad meeting at church. We all need a relaxed day. Kids are still asleep, dh is gone to work and I am having my first cup of tea.

Nothing out and around on my list today.

Just a relaxed school day and some laundry.

dinner - pot roast that I made in the crock pot yesterday, but we didn't eat last night.

Well, I am on 3 hours of sleep because I wanted to get caught up on the laundry before the maids got here.  They were supposed to arrive 2 hours ago, but of course they didn't.  Now I hear one of them *might* come or maybe nobody will.  Unfortunately this does not surprise me at all.

On the positive side, my house is straightened up, except for part of my bedroom.  I changed out the bird's litter and all the laundry is put away.  I cleaned up a nail polish stain on my kids' carpet and did various other small jobs.  I had a shower and I'm ready for the day.  :)  I didn't do any work yet though.  :P

I found out whose tent my kid left her jacket in Saturday night.  :/

I made a chiropractor appointment for my birthday.  Unfortunately, my regular lady doesn't work that day, but I decided to go anyway.  The lady who does work did a great job the last time I went to her, so hopefully she will make me feel like a new woman.  Ha!

So next up:

  • Work.
  • Finish my Henrietta Lacks book and start my new book.
  • Some stretches.
  • Pack up some hand-me-downs for my nieces.
  • Deal with the maids.
  • Deal with a fixit guy who is "supposedly" coming later.
  • Kids' work.
  • Kids to gymnastics.  Work at gymnastics.
  • Read-aloud.
  • Kids to bed.
  • Work.

need to get cleaned up and head out to run a few more errands...

Littlest one had a really rough night.

Snuggle baby

breakfast

school

outside to play for 1.5 hours

lunch

school

made super in the crock pot

littles are all napping

I need to look up directions to the new dance studio we are having at classes at tonight

Dance all night from 4-7pm.  argh.  Next time I am the one registering them and figuring out the classes not dh.  One of the points of this one was they have more than one class going on at the same time.

take the youngest ones to dance.  Dh will come later with the older ones.  switch out.

Maybe take a walk while the littles are in class.  I wanted to take a walk this am but didn't want the baby to fall asleep because the whole rest of the day would be off.

when everyone is home again eat

Oh what map did you get?

It's not new, we've had it a few years, but it is tricky to move.  It is a large wall hanging of a world map.  I attach it at the top and bottom to two long pieces of trim (painted black) and hope it sort of looks like an old fashioned school map.  But when we move, I have to cut it off the boards, then re-attach.  It's not hard, but I'm lazy...

I'm pretty sure that's the map.  It is fun to have in the dining room.  I love it, and it has held up really well for having moved 3 times...

Camping gear is still on my family room sofa.

Most of the laundry is done.

We took the dog to the park.

Kids are hanging out with Dh.

I did some AHG stuff and breakfast prep.

Time for fun reading.
