No idea what you think about fluoride but we are rural so non fluoride water and I have found the tooth mousse to be a life saver for my kids teeth once they were old enough. Before that we had never ending cavities.

We have tank water so no fluoride. Theses particular 2 have been using tooth mousse for a couple of years. ( well they are meant to.......I think I will ask them if they are still using it)

One thing I don't understand is spicy chocolate. As in pepper added. Salt, caramel, bacon, all that is fine. But pepper chocolate is just yuck.

Salted chocolate is my least favorite but I especially like spicy chocolate! We make spicy hot chocolate in the winter and my recent splurge is the chilie mocha at Starbucks. Yum.

Eta:I still don't understand this thread! I can't figure out status updates on my phone.

People salt watermelon? Sorry for the aside -- that just took me by surprise. I have seen salted chocolate -- whether it's a success or not depends entirely upon whether the chocolate is dark enough and high enough quality, and whether a good coordinating salt is used. That said, I will not be eating salted chocolate again any time in the near future except on rare occasions -- I have to reduce my salt intake, so I will happily forego those and eat other intense chocolate instead.

I loathe salted watermelon, but Tajìn is great on it.

Pepper and bacon would turn me off as well.  The only things I like with chocolate (that come to mind right now) are caramel, peanut butter, coconut, and mint.

Andee's mints are in our fridge as a staple.  So are Hershey's nuggets with almonds, both milk chocolate (for hubby and middle son) and dark (for me).  Then we keep Hershey's dark chocolate kisses for youngest son and a bag of Hershey's miniatures for anyone (visitors included) to choose from.  Those are all staples in our household, but we don't go through them all that quickly - a piece or two per day is common.

When we want to splurge we almost always opt for Lindt Truffles and include White Chocolate with that one (for middle son and me).  Milk or dark chocolate Truffles for the others.

When we stay at hotels over a weekend or for multiple days we also leave a bag of Lindt Assorted Truffles for the maid on Sundays or someday during our visit if not over a weekend.  A few have searched us out and thanked us in person for that if we're sticking around.  I think most people love those in one form or another.  ;)
