Night Elf Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Remember I posted about my dd having a hard time adjusting to school? She came home for a weekend only two weeks after she moved in. Well, she's so settled in she doesn't want to come home again until Thanksgiving. I was hoping she would come home in October. I'd love to take her shopping for some winter clothing. Instead, she went to Target yesterday and did some shopping on her own. I'm happy to see her feeling so comfortable there now, but missing her. 11 Quote
Gwen in VA Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 How wonderful for her! And how wonderful for you, though the missing can hurt. Your mommy heart must be glad! :001_smile: Quote
Angie in VA Posted October 1, 2016 Posted October 1, 2016 Aw, it is a good thing, I promise. My dd always had/has so much going on w/ her work load (always 18+ credit hours/semester) and her job that she has never come home for an entire weekend. Breaks? Yes, but just for a weekend? Nope. We need to make more of an effort to go visit her at school but it's hard w/ ds's busy schedule. I'm glad she's settled in. :) Quote
