kfeusse
If you live in a colder climate during the winter...what are your go to shoes (not boots, but shoes) and slippers to keep your piggies toasty and warm?? thanks.
Carol in Cal.
Uggs slippers are the bomb for warmth. I never solved the warm shoes problem, though. Goretex hiking boots, hush puppies outdoor boots with fleece linings, and actual snow boots have been my go to 'warm shoes' over the years. I'm the all boots all the time girl in cold winter weather. Kareni
I also like Ugg slippers. Regards, Kareni
Guest
I don't live in a cold climate but I have always cold feet because our house is almost all tile and I have sissy feet. I also like Uggs and Crocs slippers. I wear them with socks. Watch out though- it's a super sexy look- you may receive unwanted attention. :p
magnificent_baby
I don't feel like slippers provide enough traction to move around the house picking up, etc. I wear my old Bear Paws around the house in the winter. They are very comfy and so warm. I do own Uggs, but save them for going outside the house.
gardenmom5
My girls attended school in a cold climate. sheepskin slippers for inside. the real stuff, with a good insole and a decent pile. a rubber foot is better, becasue it will last longer. 'faux sheepskin' is about looks, not warmth. I prefer scuffs. My son kept stealing mine, so I finally had to buy him his own. he still preferred mine. the toe had a double layer of sheerling. they were warm, but did eventually start wearing out. and ds - stretched them out. costco gets sheepskin boots in (sheepskin insoles can be replaced), in the fall, for a fraction of the cost. (I think they were $35? last year). so they should be coming. I will even wear them in the snow. the outside can be wet - but my feet are warm and dry. I'd just shove my feet in those when I needed to do short trips outside and wasn't actually going someone where I needed to have 'real' shoes.
