Can anyone tell me what math courses need to be covered in high school to cover all the math on the ACT?

Algebra 1 and geometry. If the latter includes a tiny bit of trig and the former logarithms and exponentials.

If the algebra 1 course is weak, algebra 2 may be needed to cover the needed concepts.

"The content breakdown for ACT math is Pre-Algebra (20-25%), Elementary Algebra (15-20%), Intermediate Algebra (15-20%), Coordinate Geometry (15-20%), Plane Geometry (20-25%), and Trigonometry (5-10%).May 14, 2015"

A bit of trig/alg 2 on the test, but my son got a 30 on it while enrolled in Alg 2 during the December test.  My son said if you know how to use your calculator  the couple of trig questions were easy.

Are you asking for graduation? That depends on your state. Mine requires through geometry but admission to the state's 4 year schools requires through algebra 2.

I think she is asking which topics are on the ACT.

I can see that now that I'm on my desktop. The Tapatalk app cut off the title so that it read "Can anyone tell me what math courses need to be covered in high school" without the ACT part.
