Catalytic Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 Possibly I made this up, but I *think* some time back I found a reading spreadsheet. Possibly for K or 1st, or maybe Elementary in general. It had the titles and authors, and then it had a bunch of different programs/curricula and it checked off what lists each book was on. (Like AO, WTM, Mensa, etc) Does anyone have a link or know what I'm talking about? TIA for any help! Quote
mumto3girls Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I do remember seeing a spreadsheet for this but I'm not sure how to locate it again, sorry. Quote
domestic_engineer Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I know what you are talking about. I can't find it via the search function. grrr. Quote
SoCal_Bear Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 (edited) I am happy to share the one I created if you are looking for reading lists. It's here on my blog: https://lifeatwarpspeed.wordpress.com/2014/04/17/good-literature-is-what-everyone-needs-to-feed-their-childs-soul/ Edited September 26, 2016 by calbear Quote
Jackie Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Could it be the list referenced here? http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/583622-husband-wants-dd8-to-stop-reading-garbage/?p=6784064 2 Quote
Catalytic Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 Thanks everyone, domestic_engineer found the one I was looking for, but these others are awesome, too. I thought I remembered it having all the literature based curricula on it, but it doesn't, so I guess it's a good thing I started one while I was looking for this one. Kiddo and I are working our way through the MENSA K-3 list right now, and since I can't seem to settle on one style/type of HS, I'm planning to pick and choose from all the really good book lists I can find. (So many good books and good literature-based or classical curricula makes it hard to choose just one!) Quote

Catalytic Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 I think it's the precursor to the one in the thread you linked. For some reason I thought it had the BYL, MBtP, etc lists on it, too. Quote
Vanchy Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Jackie, thank you so much for sharing this link. Quote
domestic_engineer Posted October 4, 2016 Posted October 4, 2016 1.5 weeks later, I have finally found the thread and OP (cintinative) of the booklist (yes it's a version of the one that Jackie shared) .... http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/609897-book-list-i-am-sharing/ 2 Quote
cintinative Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I was just coming on here to say I think it was mine! =) 1 Quote
cintinative Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) I did add some additional "books about books" to it but didn't update it in Google docs. So, I just did that. I added columns for The Book Tree and Books that Build Character. I didn't add all books from these lists though. FYI. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0oUXygCNeMleTBiTWlTaUIzWDA Edited October 5, 2016 by cintinative 2 Quote
