Good morning! I am up early, as the random thought of "what about my car registration?" popped into my head at 4:45 am. I think that still may be lagging with our new address. So that is on my list. Otherwise, long day today.

To do:

pack breakfast and pick up dd2

drop dd2 off at school

school with boys (work on paper with ds2)

figure out car stuff

daily chores

other random things

Afternoon Swim/aikido/swim/homework

Pizza night!

Have a great day!

Outside again today!

Gorgeous Fall day.  I'm going to have the kids do school at the picnic table while I landscape and the two shorties in the trampoline.

I love sun.

I love harvest.

I love Fall.

I love cooler weather.

I love being outside.

I love having four distinct seasons.

Oregon was gorgeous, but at every seasonal change I thank God we don't live there anymore.  I cannot imagine it being September and knowing the clouds were about to set in.... until June. :/

Sounds perfect.

I am sad it is storming here today.

Checking in real quick today.  I'm at a conference from 8am to 9pm but playing hooky for just a minute.

  • Switch out laundry and get kids' school clothes & gym bag ready for today.
  • Kids up & off to school.
  • Clean the kitchen.
  • Pet care.
  • Shower, hair wash, get dressed in a suit (blah).
  • Take out the garbage.
  • Drive to conference.  Talk work the whole way.
  • Conference.  Doing other work on breaks.
  • Supposed to try to do the AHG newsletter, but not sure I will get a chance before night.
  • Eventually go home and check kids' homework.  I hope they do it before I get home.
  • Kids to bed.
  • Work.

I have a conf call in 9 minutes, no point going back into the tax conference now.

Can I join in?

Done:

Make sure the big kids get off to seminary at 5:50

Broccoli and Ham Fritatta for breakfast (it was kind of gross, not going to use that recipe again)

Write to my aunt (I write to her every Wednesday)

Load of dishes

Clean counters and stove

Sweep kitchen

School

Do whatever the wildlife people need me to do while they work (they were here 3 hours!)

Lunch (buffalo chicken salad)

Read some of Lost Princess of Oz

Make sure daughter gets off to work at 3:15

Youngest to ped for ADHD med check (upping his Adderall to 10mg; got a flu shot... he's not too happy with me right now)

In Progress:

Walk 250 steps and hour/at least 10,000 total

To Do:

Sweep stairs

Clean out refrigerator

Make tomorrow's breakfast (overnight oatmeal)

Change dog's water

Make a scrapbook page

Places to go:

Church with big kids for youth activity

Not happening:

Get oldest son to place to weed at 6 (taekwondo instructor is sick - he's never out sick so he must be really bad - and program director has a school demo so it's up to the teens to run classes so he'll be staying to help with that - had to promise him cookies since he gets paid for weeding in cookies)

Hoping some of those baby raccoons have been caught.  They were making quite a racket this morning. (traps were empty)
