Miss Tick
There is a nice, gentle rain here today. Perfect for getting school work done. Until dd rushes into the kitchen announcing that, "There is dripping in the living room!" Yikes! Sure enough, a "minor" drip in the vicinity of the fireplace. The house, including chimney, is 60 years old. The roof is probably 10. This is not an insurance calling issue, right? This is normal wear and tear and I should call a roofer/mason rather than the insurance adjuster, correct? Sigh.
hjffkj
Normal wear and tear unless something recently would have cause damage to the roof or siding(if the leak is coming from siding being off or loose.)
Miss Tick
Thanks. No, happily nothing dramatic has happened here in quite a while, which is just fine with me. I guess I'll go out together a list of contractors to call...
