Tackling for Thursday:

Reg daily topics: morning folder, WWE ZBHW SM ETC full lesson plus short history AND short science BFSU lesson. { put off FLL and AAS for later or tomorrow. } :gasp: goal: review all number bonds 7-10. {reviewed 7 & 8 saving 9 & 10 for tomorrow. I'm seeing progress in memorization of the facts & bonds, which is good. }

Housekeeping project - all bathrooms detailed, curtains washed, and bedding washed, all laundry folded. Mowing front.

Planning project:

Plan ahead materials list for next 3 science lessons, next 5 SOTW activities

Exercise or yoga. Gear research, Amazon order.{ Amazon order partly done}

Confirm home study enrollment processed!! Woohoo! "Office work assign."

Good morning! Dd2 is off to school, I will be taking ds3 to his enrichment day in a few minutes. He liked it much better last week, found his group of jock friends (no joke-a rare group in homeschool settings-I wish he was more academically minded). So a calm day at home with a crazy afternoon planned.

To do:

drop off ds3

grocery store run

home to chores/etc.

writing day with ds2

jen things

pack food for ds3 and dd2

New schedule today! Pick up ds3 (with dd2) drive to new practice

homework in car as we drive to dd2's practice

Back across area (25-30 min) to pick up ds3.

Take him home

start dinner

pick up dd2

dinner

homework?

Have a great day!

Got up a little early, told the kids to get up, then took a nap on the kid's beanbag chair.  20 minutes later at least 1 kid has snuck back into bed.  Can't say I blame her ....  But the school bus has been coming almost 10 minutes early ....

Had a stressful conference call at 9am.  This is never a good thing.  Came away from it with assignments of stuff to send out ASAP.  Need to breathe first.  Boss promised we'd work all weekend on the client's surprise emergency.  I had plans for the weekend ....

So today's list:

  • Kids up & off to school.  [done]
  • Kids took care of pet care.  [done]
  • Prepare for freakin conference call.  [done]
  • Conference call. [done]
  • Doom and gloom discussion post-conference call.  [done]
  • Work.  Lots of work.
  • Make eye appointment for me.
  • Figure out international bank transfer.
  • Figure out how to get lawyer continuing ed credit for the conference we did last week.
  • A little reading.
  • A little exercise.
  • Kids' work.
  • Kids to basketball.
  • Kids to pet shelter to walk dogs?
  • Kids swim?
  • Kids to bed.
  • Work.

Coming up for air.  This morning my client told me they're having a board meeting tomorrow and they need 18 financial reports from me TODAY.  Surely they must already be done through June 30, right?

Oh sure, most of them, but not in the format you want.  Plus, maybe I had other things to do today.  :/

Oh and I just found out our HMO, which went out of the insurance business, did not transfer our info over to the successor company.  Our insurance expired yesterday and the new people don't have our info.  (The partner in charge of this says she thought we didn't have to do anything.)  So they are asking me to drop everything and complete these insurance forms TODAY.  Like I have time for that.

And my kid came and asked for help on her homework.  I had to put her off.  And cancel one of the things we wanted to do tonight.  :/

I just need about 10 minutes to breathe, before I dive back in again.

Home from my meeting.

Unwinding now. Was pretty riled to come home and find the kitchen not cleaned up when I specifically mentioned that before I left.

Dh is watching football. Kids are asleep.

Accomlishment of note for today - Dog dug up a giant mole in the back yard and I whacked it with a shovel. That hound dog and I are a good team. ;)

Here's a little "shred Betty" pep talk. If nothing else maybe fetch an eyebrow raise or a snicker :)

I learned some BIG life lessons on the mountain last winter. BIG. (Metaphors follow lol)

ðŸ‚ðŸ‚

Don't look down the mountain at where you will have to end up, at times like these you have to keep your back to the trail and keep your eyes on that tiny 1 ft sq patch of trail right in front of your board, and just ride it out. Stay loose and keep the fear from coming in. When you get off that steep without bailing, and back on to familiar territory, you will have more stoke than ever and ride better than ever because you survived it. ðŸ‚ðŸ‚
