Guest Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 Ha. We moved 2 hours away and I kept Ds's pediatrician and dentist for 3 years. After 4 years I am still going back for my gynecologist and my hair dresser. I'm keeping my nail tech and hairdresser too, and my midwives, even though they'll be almost ninety minutes away. I don't give birth fast anyhow :D. They were so sweet and said they'd be happy to drive to my homebirths even after I move, since they know my pattern and they're the only ones really qualified to take me outside a hospital setting. I'll drive almost any distance for a good enough service or person. Especially if it isn't frequently. But I drive 45 minutes each way for the kids' piano each week too because the piano teacher is worth her weight in gold.
