Question for Mavalus Tape users -- will this work?

K I've read and read how awesome this tape is and that it's a huge teacher must have -- it even sticks to brick etc. etc.

 

I want to use this tape to put a cotton fabric border (6 inches wide) around our whiteboard, and probably border up a few other matching areas on our walls. Maybe frame 2 doorways with it and our memory work posting area.

 

I don't want the the tape to show (fabric is black with white polkas!) .. .

 

Is it strong enough to loop, then attach from the back?? Will be going onto drywall.

 

Will it hold?

 

I assume it won't stick to the ceiling (popcorn).
