yvonne
For the smoothest transition into the private school's Latin 2 course, it would make the most sense to use Wheelock's Latin this year. He'll want to know the vocab from the first 18 chapters, as well as the grammar, to be able to start off well on the second half of Wheelock's. Maybe you could try to compare the vocab and grammar from Forms you've done to Wheelock's and fill in whatever the Forms don't cover, but that seems like a lot more work than just using Wheelock's this year and being sure he doesn't have any gaps. Or you could stick with the Forms for this year as a more gentle introduction to Latin, and he'd have a head start on Latin 1 at the private school. (If you wanted an online course that covers Wheelock's 1-20, you could look into Lukeion's Latin 1. After Lukeion's Latin 1, he'd definitely be ready for the private school's Latin 2!)
