Ugh. Perfect job. They need someone 8-1. I can only work those hours three days a week. The other two days are 8-11 because I have to get DD to her homeschool activities. I doubt I get it. Really freaking stinks.

Sorry, Moxie. Any chance of a friend or family member helping you with transportation for your DD? Any chance of a workaround if the interviewer loved you and thought you'd be a perfect fit? I know how frustrating trying to find a job that fits family demands can be. Good luck to you!

Can someone else take her there? If you told the interviewer you can't work the hours, then you're right, they probably won't offer it to  you. But if you can shoot them an email saying you can work all the hours, with no conflicts as you've resolved the conflict, you may have a chance.

I am sorry.

I had a "perfect job" interview in May and was actually surprised I didn't get it. I am still sad about it.

Hoping something else perfect works out for you.
