My DH has been GF for almost 2 years now and my 13 year old DD started a GF diet Saturday.  Just curious which bread you think taste better.  TJ's is 45 mins away so that's a little inconvenient but still doable.

I know bread is going to be the hardest adjustment.  She's used to a lot of other GF foods such as pasta and crackers already.

I'm not sure about the ones you mentioned, but we like Udi's from Costco and livegfree from Aldi.  I think Aldi and TG are owned by the same company so maybe the bread is similar.

Never heard of Canyon.

We like Trader Joe's.  It freezes well, so you can stock up if the store is a trek.  TJ's bagels are good too.

We also like blue label Franz bread.  It is soft, and is a good choice IMO for making garlic bread.  It also freezes well.  But it's about $2 more per loaf than TJ's.  We haven't tried their other varieties.

If you like to bake, Costco sells Namaste cup for cup flour in a 5 lb bag.  I sub it for wheat flour and make cookies, muffins, brownies, coffee cake...

There is a 7 grain bread from canyon bake house at Costco. It's made in Colorado though and may be regional.

This is my go-to bread. I haven't had TJ's, but I think Canyon is way better than Udi's.

I've never seen Canyon Bake House where we live so I have no opinion on that. My GF child prefers Udi's but will tolerate TJ if that's what's available. She hates Rudy's, Food for Life, and Schar.

I love canyon bakehouse bread. Trader joes is like a rock. Udi's reminds me of wonder bread and it leaves me with a bad taster that lingers. But I think it's entirely personal. We all taste things differently. I am thankful to have found something that I like and can buy locally. Having to drive 45 mins for bread is not fun.
